Sydney Nitro Champs
Nitro Champs in Sydney after some testing at Willowbank we are less than confident of doing well as we can’t seem to get a hold on these RJ Cars.
Qualifying
Qualifying we are having issues again although Aaron runs a stout 7.038 it is only good enough for 8th spot. Tyronne is worse off with the car not hooking up a h qualifies well down in the field in 11th spot with a 7.061. How tough is Pro Stock getting.
To top this off Aaron hurts his engine on the last qualifier so we have an engine change to do and as usual with Aaron’s car being new nothing fits.
Eliminations Round 1
Aaron is out first running mate Shane Tucker, this is the race of the meeting with Aaron winning on a holeshot Aaron .033 light 7.050 194.46
Shane .118 light 6.985 196.02
Tyronne is out next against Jason Grima, Jason’s car has been fast all weekend and he takes an easy win as Tyronne red lights shake the tyres and has to abort the run.
Eliminations Round 2
Aaron and Mopar muscle man Lee Bekatsh, what a race Lee takes the narrowest of wins, Lee runs 7.016 - 193.88 to Aaron’s 7.018 – 194.55. What a run this is the spare engine and it goes 7.018
Round 4 Nitro Champs over and we are looking forward to the Winternationals and hopefully stepping up.
